The Codroy Valley is truly a scenic valley. The natural activities in the area are limitless. The entire South West Coast can be discovered all from here. Below highlights a list of attractions in our area.

 

St. Andrews Na Creige Golf Course

Come out and play a round of golf. The views from the golf course are magnificent!

Located in St. Andrews on route 407

Grand Codroy Wildlife Museum

Visit the wildlife museum and view Newfoundland's largest wildlife exhibit with over 300 displays. It's a must see!

Enjoy a game of mini golf and the kids will love the playground area

Wetland Centre - Grand Codroy Estuary - Bird Watching

The Codroy Valley is a birder's paradise!

Grand Codroy Wetlands is the designated a Wetlands of International Importance. RAMSAR Site, the only one in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

  Codroy Valley has the most species and rarites of birds in the province. Birders will travel from far distances to sight a rare bird. Along with the birds, the flora is also unique. Stop by the Wetlands Interpretation Centre and pick up information on the area birds.

Cape Anguille Lighthouse

Take a tour of the Lighthouse in Cape Anguille, Codroy Valley. See the ocean view and you may even spot some whales, especially in August! The beach and rocks below is a great spot for a picnic. Breathe in the fresh air of the ocean.

 

Hiking & walking trails.

See the Codroy Valley as you hike the Starlight Mountain.  Be sure to pack a lunch, you will be in awe as you see the sights on top of the mountain. 

The Wetlands Walking trail is located across from the Wetland Centre for a leisurely stroll with several look out areas along the trail over the estuary.

Many Natural beaches to take a stroll, including Searston Beach, Codroy Valley Provincial Park area

Salmon Fishing

Codroy Valley is a fantastic place for Salmon Fishing. With 15 licensed salmon fishing rivers in the area, you'll sure get your catch.

Local weekly entertainment 

Codroy Valley Folk Festival (last weekend in July) 

The local talent in Codroy Valley is unique! From accordian players, step dancers, square dancers, fiddlers to vocals and guitar and mandolin players,, you will be amazed with the talent and what our community can offer in the musical world of tradition and culture.
